I never DREAMED of being an author. I DREAMED of being a rock star.

Most people don't know, I ended up being in a band for a season.

But, in terms of ultimate purpose, it's like God did the band for me just to bless me...

God breathed newness into my dream of being a rockstar and used that season to fuel starting Yakabod. And now, giving me a platform as an author...

The call to be an author is for Him to use me to bless/reach/influence others. Not that the former (being in a band) didn’t have an impact, but that was not the primary purpose.
