Most Christian business leaders haven’t connected their faith to their daily work life - they’re two separate worlds. In these chaotic times, God is calling us to get off the fence. To choose this day whom we will serve. Not just on Sunday, but on Tuesday. Authentically living out our faith at work is not easy - but doing so brings a much-needed experience of God’s Kingdom to those in our areas of influence.
At your business as in heaven
AWAIH believes Jesus meant it when He told us to pray that “His Kingdom come,
His will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.” That He wouldn’t give us a prayer that doesn’t work. That He not only answered the prayer Himself, but then equipped 12 apostles, then 72 disciples, then all of us to do the same. And never rescinded the call.
The core premise of AWAIH is that it’s not only possible - it’s expected - for Christian business leaders to partner with God to see His good Kingdom come on earth – in our city, in our workplace - as in Heaven. It’s not about making our companies or areas of influence look like church, but rather aligning them with the fullness, the goodness, and the purpose for which God intends.
